Case No. 194321 Date: 06/18/2004
Reporting Officer: Officer Mack Prepared By: Officer Nickles
Incident:
Received phone call reporting a disturbance at residence previously visited 06/17/2004. Laughter and other noises heard in background of call.
Detail of Event:
Arrived on scene to house in disarray inside and outside: The garage door looks like it was smashed into from the outside with a car, no glass or non-garage debris with the victim’s car still inside the garage; every window is smashed and it looks like there may have been a fire on the lawn that must have extinguished itself. Inside resembles the aftermath of a natural disaster more than a crime scene. Furniture is overturned; shattered plates, mirrors, lightbulbs and monitors have the kitchen floor, bathroom, den and bedroom covered in shards of glass. There’s not a spot of blood anywhere. If there had been a body, it is standard operating procedure to leave it where it is found. No body has been recovered.
Actions Taken:
Set up tape around the house noting an ongoing investigation at the crime scene. All officers have been assigned to other cases with no further actions intended.
Summary:
Disturbance at house has no known cause and no resources are allocated to pursue the case toward further closure.
